We are as local Community who has land around Batu Kapal Area its about 4 km away from Bukit Lawang, in Leuser ecosystem nice place with river and jungle view,  just set up the area together as local organization, NATURE FOR FUTURE, the vision of this organization to preserve our land for the future, so we  create the area as media for environment and conservation Education, ECOTOURIST is the main point, in order the local community will get the BENEFIT, at moment there is not many information about our area, some people has been coming to our place.

What we can do to save the Forest?
Since many years the local people just look at the forest just some thing that they can do to make money , if they do some thing in the forest they have to destroy / deforestation.
They cut the tree to make money from Timber, they cut tree to make e new plantation, they cut tree for factory industry.

So what is the local poeple will get the benefite from forest ?
Eco tourism is one of the solution to solve to problem but its not very efective, who mostly get the benefite from tourism ?


We have a basic facilities, will build bungalow soon, camping ground is provide for anybody want stay. Visitor can visit on our 30 ha land with local guide, do small activities to explore the area.
We offer some programs as below.

- Jungle conservation and river conservation.
- environment and conservation education.
- research and community development 
- Ecotourism.
This organization belong to the community who has the land and get support from local foundation " NATURE FOR FUTURE "

Jungle and river Conservation.
This program we do to preserve the forest around our land, we planted many different kind of plants. We do tree replanting that the forest can be use by us as food and also the wildlife on our land, tree planting can help the opportunity to get a benefits for local community, and to preserve biodiversity in the river.

Environment and Conservation education.
Our land around 30 ha square, on the land we set up the landscape as media for visitor to know about the environment, the plants we grow its very important to keep people learn about flora and fauna especiallly on our land.

Reseach and developing
To develop the area, we would like to identification about the area that we have on our land, doing research also possible about flora and fauna, we have not found how many species of flora and fauna, we some primate, amphibian, reptile.

Ecotourism
We have opportunity to create tourist activities on our land also around the Leuser National Park.
We can explore the area to do just small trekking around it,

Fasilities
We have a rooms with Balcony but at the moment we have no restaurant, if any body come and visit our area we have to arrange also for food whilst staying.

Camping is other option, camping on the river bank and quite place, enjoy your fire during the night.
